AERVIP Terms & Conditions
Introduction
We set out below the terms and condition of AERVIP and urge you to read thoroughly, before completing your booking. Once booking is made through our website, you immediately agree that you have read, agreed and understood all terms and conditions.
1. Booking Information
To make a booking, follow the online booking steps. It is your responsibility to enter accurate information for the smooth provision of our services, such as correct number of passengers and contact information. You may amend your personal information and specifics of your ride through ‘Manage My Booking’.
Your booking is confirmed once a booking confirmation voucher is generated and provided to a valid email. In case you do not receive your booking voucher, you may contact Customer Support via email at info@aervip.com to confirm your booking is valid. Upon arrival, driver will request to see the voucher (either hard copy or digital). We may make contact with you, in case we cannot locate you or before the agreed Pick-up Departure time, to agree the exact location of our meeting point.
2. Cancellations Refunds and Changes
Cancellations by you
Cancellations can be made through our website by clicking on ‘Manage My Booking’. Your booking is not considered cancelled until you receive an email from us confirming cancellation. Cancellation time is considered to be the date and time that you received notification from us that your booking has been cancelled.
Booking amendments
If you wish to change a confirmed booking, you can change it at any time 48 hours or more prior to your Pick-up Departure Time via email at info@aervip.com. The change will be effective when we receive the request from you and confirm in writing that we can accommodate the change.
Refunds
You are entitled to receive a 100% refund on your booking with no cancellation fee, so long as the cancellation is made, and received by us, more than 48 hours before your Pick-up Departure Time.
All refunds will be processed as quickly as possible. We cannot commit to the timeframe that your bank will actually need to process this into your bank account. Please note that fees added, charged or any foreign exchange conversion loss are not refundable by AERVIP, as they are clearly bank fees. In this case you should contact your bank or credit card issuing company directly. If you have not received your refund within 7 business days, please contact info@aervip.com for further assistance.
No-Show by you or later arrival
A‘no-show’booking is declared when you do not arrive at the agreed meeting point at your specified Pick-up Departure Time and have not cancelled your booking 48 hours or more before your Pick-up Departure Time. In this case you will not be entitled to any refund.
The driver will provide you with a grace wait time, free of charge, of 30 minutes for all meeting points and 45 minutes if Pick-up Departure Time is at the airport terminal. The grace period starts to count from the time that you have declared on your booking as the Pick-up Departure Time. Once the grace period lapses, your booking will be declared as a no-show and driver will depart from the designated meeting point. In case we are notified of your delay, and we are able to accommodate more waiting time, extra charges will apply.
We kindly urge you to arrange your Pick-up Departure Time well, allow for airport time to get through baggage claim and transport clearance and ensure you have the correct time zone if you are arriving from another country. If you arrive earlier than scheduled, you may contact Customer Support to check with us if the driver is available. We would be more than happy to pick you up earlier, if availability allows.
Additional waiting time can be requested by contacting our Customer Support at EUR20 for each additional hour.
For any unfortunate events beyond your control, i.e cancelled flights you need to make contact with us urgently. We will do our best to accommodate your booking at a later time/date and will require proof as to the reasons you were not able to be present during your Pick-up Departure Time.
Early arrival at the airport
If you are arriving early and once you know the new arrival time of your flight contact our customer support at +30 690 9229944 (whatsup and viber as well). However, our driver will monitor your landing time based on the flight provided and will make relevant arrangements to be there on time.
Our driver will be waiting for you at the Arrivals Hall by holding a board with your name. In case you are unable to locate our driver, make contact with us at +30 690 9229944 (whatsup and viber as well).
Baggage allowance
We urge you to refer to our website and choose your preferred vehicle based on the passengers and the size and number of luggage you will be travelling with. Extra baggage or baggage exceeding standard dimensions (i.e folding bikes and wheelchairs) are subject to baggage hold space availability and your booking may be declined if we are unable to accommodate them. You may require upgrading your vehicle type.
Passengers will be liable for all expenses incurred for excess baggage and other items not declared at the time of booking and AERVIP may decline to service your booking.
Suitcases are measured as below:
Small suitcase: (55 x 40 x 20 cm)
Medium suitcase: (65 x 50 x 30 cm)
Large Suitcase: (75 x 50 x 30 cm)
For special equipment such as wheelchairs, bicycles you need to make contact with us at Customer Support to discuss the size of the vehicle you will require and how we can best accommodate you.
3. Vehicle occupancy and special requests/charges
Child passengers and child seats
All infants and children count as passengers and must be included in the total number of passengers at the time of the booking.
Child/infant seats are not automatically added to the booking, therefore we kindly urge you to request the seat at the time of the booking, in order for the driver to bring one.
Driver will equip the car accordingly before picking you up. Kindly note that we adhere to all traffic regulations, and we hereby provide you with the rules:
Kids under 3 years of age need to be within child/infant seat
Kids under 135cm and aged between 3-11 must use a child seat
Kids over 12+ years of age (provided they are over 1.35m in height) can sit with just an adult seatbelt as a restraint.
If you wish to bring your own child seat, click the option BYO Child Seat, and select the child age and child seat type.
Disabled or special needs passengers
If you or any of the passengers travelling with you has any medical condition or disability that may affect your transfer, please contact us via email at info@aervip.com, before you make your booking in order to let our team know what your special needs/requirements are. We need to check on the availability of our vehicles before we confirm you booking as not all cars are equipped with disability equipment.
We kindly inform you that we do not provide wheelchairs, so you are requested to bring your own.
Pets
Customers must use their own pet cages. This is listed under special equipment, and we kindly advise you to consult with us ahead of time in order to be able to accommodate. Please further note that all pets need to be restrained in a cage during transportation.
4. General Terms
Passenger behaviour
We reserve the right to deny service to passengers if:
We believe that they are unable to travel and / or use the services they have ordered, or
We believe that their actions could cause embarrassment to other passengers, our staff, the staff of our partners, the public, or endanger anyone, or cause damage to property.
In addition, the service agreed with us may be cancelled in such a situation without exercising the right to a refund or any compensation.
If any passenger breaks or damages anything during the service, or if the passenger's behavior necessitates unforeseen cleaning or maintenance of the vehicle, we, and the owner of the property in question, will hold the Passenger liable for compensation in accordance with damage reports and invoices issued by relevant organizations.
Duration of the ride
Duration of the ride depends on the traffic on the roads and thus we are unable to commit to timeframes or destination arrival times. All our drivers follow strict trafficregulations (e.g speed limits). We therefore, urge you to plan your other obligations with this in mind.
Free Parking
With your AERVIP voucher you are eligible for free parking with AERCAR in Cyprus (both Larnaca and Pafos). When you arrive at either location you will be required to present your AERVIP voucher. We will link your AERVIP booking with your parking. We will drive you to the airport for free with our shuttle bus service. On your return, please call us at +357 96699944 to pick you up from the airport with our free shuttle bus service.
Before your departure from the parking area you need to take photos and videos of your vehicle.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that you travel with your own travel insurance, which is adequate for your needs.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Greece.
You agree that any dispute that may arise between you and us in connection with these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Greece.
